Getting Started

Welcome to the StintIQ User Guide.

StintIQ is a planning tool for endurance sim racing teams. Owners and admins build race plans, drivers sign up for stints, and everyone gets the same picture of who's driving, when, and for how long — without the spreadsheet wars.

Pick your role

The way you use StintIQ depends on what you're doing on race day. Pick the guide that matches your role:

  • Owner or Admin → You set up the team, build the race plan, assign drivers, and run the race. Start with Set up your team in the Owner & Admin Guide.
  • Driver → You've been invited to a team. You sign up for availability windows, get assigned to stints, and get DMs when it's your turn to drive. Start with Join a team in the Driver Guide.
  • Engineer / Spotter → You're assigned to support a driver during their stint — strategy calls, lap times, incident alerts. Start with Your role on the team in the Engineer / Spotter Guide.

If you fill more than one role on race day (admin who also drives, driver who also engineers for someone else), read whichever guides apply.

What StintIQ doesn't do

StintIQ plans the race. It doesn't drive it.

  • We don't read live telemetry from your sim — fuel levels, NRG burn, tire wear are inputs you give us, not something we measure. (Live telemetry is on the roadmap once we have more user feedback.)
  • We don't manage incident reviews or league standings. Those live in your league's existing tools.
  • We don't run your Discord server. We connect to it for race-day DMs, but the server itself is yours to manage.

Reference topics

The Reference section in the sidebar holds cross-cutting topics:

  • Discord setup — connecting your team's Discord server, inviting the bot, getting the /link flow right.
  • Fuel calculator explained — what the fuel calc does, how the inputs flow into the projection.
  • NRG and car class — Hypercar vs GT3, why the inputs differ.
  • Troubleshooting — common gotchas (Discord DMs not arriving, timezone confusion, share link 404).
  • FAQ — questions we get a lot.

You can come back to these from any guide page — they're linked inline where they're relevant.
